Workforce Development
I believe every student should have a pathway to success, whether that means college, trade school, apprenticeships, or entering the workforce directly. As someone who spent 40 years in the printing industry, I understand the value of skilled labor and hands-on training. Ohio needs to invest in career and technical education programs that prepare students for good-paying jobs right here in our communities. I support stronger partnerships between schools, unions, local businesses, and career centers so we can develop a skilled workforce that keeps Ohio competitive and gives young people opportunities close to home.
Energy Innovation & Affordability
Families and small businesses are struggling with rising utility costs, and reliable, affordable energy must be a priority. I support an energy policy that encourages innovation while protecting consumers from excessive costs. Ohio should invest in modern infrastructure and support an all-of-the-above approach to energy that keeps power dependable, strengthens our economy, and creates jobs. We must also ensure transparency and accountability so that energy policy serves the people of Ohio - not special interests.
Accountable Local Government
Government works best when it is transparent, responsible, and focused on the needs of the people. Taxpayers deserve to know their money is being spent wisely and efficiently. I support cutting unnecessary bureaucracy, improving accountability, and ensuring local governments have the tools they need to provide quality services while keeping costs down for residents. I will always believe local voices matter, and I will work to make sure state government listens to the communities it serves.
Family Farmer Concerns
I believe family farmers are the backbone of our communities and local economy, and right now many are struggling under rising costs, unpredictable markets, and trade policies that make it harder for them to compete. Farmers are being squeezed by higher fuel prices, equipment costs, property taxes, and tariffs that put them at a disadvantage while neighboring countries benefit. I will support policies that strengthen local agriculture, protect family farms, expand market opportunities, and reduce unnecessary financial burdens on rural communities. Our farmers deserve fair opportunities to compete and continue the vital role they play in supporting Ohio’s economy and way of life.
